I’m sure for most of you, your kids are out of school for the summer! Can you believe that it’s already summer? I sure can’t! Even though June 20th is the official start to summer, it certainly feels like it here in South Carolina. We’re in full on summer gear: shorts, swimsuits, and sunscreen!
The best thing that comes out of this heat is certainly our garden. It’s a great way to give the kids some responsibilities and see the beauty of watching things grow. It always amazes even me what a little water, sun, soil, and love will do.
We love to grow tomatoes and this year we have oodles and oodles of them! We didn’t even have to buy the plants or seeds this year (The rotten tomatoes that had fallen last year, came up as beautiful plants this year)!
For a tasty, cool, and easy snack, we decided to make these caprese wraps with our own tomatoes! They are so fun and easy to assemble. Just have your kids help you out! Plus, they are even more fun to eat because of their cute size and amazing flavors. Perfect for a little appetizer or snack!I hope you enjoy these little caprese wraps and have a great beginning to your summer! Get out there and start planting your family garden today!
